On-Site Recycling : Soil Screening Services

With our soil screening services we use screening buckets that will screen top soil and it will take stones, flints, twigs and even grass roots out of soil and leave you with piles of clean 0-20mm soil.

Clean top soil general speaking has a higher value than recycled aggregates. The recycling buckets will even separate fresh excavated grass from the fine soil that lives in the roots so you can win back lots and lots of good soil which you would otherwise be taking off site.

In terms of costings, generally it is about £10 a tonne to get rid of soil and at least £15 a tonne to buy decent topsoil back in, so you are looking at some £25 a tonne minimum for the cost of taking it away and putting it back in.

Our screening buckets will process 10-15 tonnes an hour so the savings are absolutely enormous.
