On this job we have about 5000 tons of a mixture of top soil, barbed wire, tree roots, concrete blocks, fencing posts and bits of cattle horn etc and this has been grubbed up into a big pile. There is 10 acres of land to soil up ready for grassing and landscaping for gardens around the new property.

The soil isn't very good, so by using a three-way twin deck screener we can screen out all the over sized, break up all the soil using a rake on a 8 ton machine, once it's run through the screener using different sized meshes we can make top soil 40mm down, 35mm down and even 10mm stone free to do seed bedding for the final gardens around the barn conversion.

The savings are literally 10's of Thousands of pounds compared with taking the material off site or just burying it and buying fresh screen soil back in.
