Concrete Bursting Services

This service is ideal for cracking heavy or deep sections of re-enforced concrete where conventional breaking techniques would be arduous and time consuming. Our Concrete Bursting heads with hydraulic pressure are placed in pre-drilled holes and are expanded to produce cracks in the concrete, effectively splitting the structure into smaller sections for removal.

Concrete bursting is also an ideal method when vibration and noise is prohibited, within or adjacent to occupied dwellings as shown by the two photos to the right, as we carefully use the hydraulic concrete bursting tools in the demolition of this property. This is a perfect technique for the demolition and de-construction of historic buildings or structures especially sensitive to vibration.
